Blake starts his show career exactly like his older half-brother. At 6 months, 1 week he earned his first two points under Donna Ernst. At his first specialty, he was Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes under Marcy Johnson, and pulled for Winner's Dog under Alexander Douglas.
At his second specialty at just 7 months of age, he was Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes under Coleen Kincaid (Elhid Labradors) and Winner's Dog under Stephanie Harris (Skyfire) from the Bred-By Puppy class and at his third specialty at 9 months of age, he was Winner's Dog/Best of Winners/Best Puppy under Shannon Carlton (Sheabourne) from the Bred-By Puppy class.
